Best Priced Homes
Buying your own house isn't like shopping at the late-night convenience store for noodles and instant coffee. It's an important check point in life, a sign of independence and financial stability. So it only makes sense that most home buyers are always looking for the best priced homes when they set out to nitpick the home market.
The key to finding the best priced homes is by flexing your price point ranges.
When you talk to an agent, he'll ask your price range so he could look it up through his records. The thing to do is don't give him the exact range of the value you're looking for or you might miss out on best priced homes that are just a little way out of your asking price range.
For example, if your maximum asking price is $399,000, don't set up a property search with that exact value, or else you might miss on great homes priced at $405,000, etc. The same goes for minimum value.
Take note that home prices are different between the seller's market and the buyer's market. Ask your agent to negotiate good prices that meet your price range.
